We suggest you to take an early morning Freccia Rossa or Eurostar train from Rome (Roma) to Naples (Napoli). The train ride takes about 70 minutes from the central train station in Rome to the central train station at Piazza Garibaldi in Naples.

On to Pompei ...
Purchase your ticket(s) for the Circumvesuviana train at the central train station at Piazza Garibaldi, then walk downstairs to the tracks. The Circumvesuviana line is operated like a subway, departing about every 30 minutes. It starts out underground but quickly emerges above ground and remains so all the way to Sorrento (the end of the line). Except when the weather is really bad, there are incredible views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples from the train. Depending on the time of day, the train ride from Naples to Pompei should take 25 to 35 minutes .
Get off the train at Pompei Scavi, also known as the "Villa dei Misteri" station. There you will meet our licensed guide (on request is possible also in Naples train station), he/she will accompany you on an unforgettable guided walking tour in the ancient roman time for the next two hours.
On to Herculaneum ...
Purchase your ticket(s) for the Circumvesuviana train at the central train station at Piazza Garibaldi, then walk downstairs to the tracks. CANCELLATION POLICY
Please, note that there will be no charge if you cancel your reservation by e-mail within at least 7 days before the date of requested service. If is not done in these terms, our company reserves the right to debit the total amount of requested services.
On request is possible to meet the guide in Naples or Sorrento central train station ( additional cost of 20 Euros ).
