Meeting point with your guide and drive into Naples, your first view of the city takes you back to the 13th century with the Castle Nuovo, a grim and gloomy fortress that served as the residence of the kings of Anjou, Aragon, and the Spanish Viceroys.
You will continue past the Piazza della Borsa, the Corso Umberto, the teather S. Carlo and the Galleria Umberto I, lined with beautiful lamps and 19th-century buildings containing some of the most elegant shops and cafes in Naples. A stop will be made at the Piazza Plebiscito; the most monumental and harmonious square in the city, to view the vast 17th-century Royal Palace, San Carlo Opera House and the Church of St. Francis.
Continue the dive at Posillipo Hill, you'll have time for photographs and an excellent panoramic view of the city. You will then enjoy refreshments and pastry at a local Neapolitan Cafe.
Enjoy a ride up to San Martino Hill from where you can enjoy the views over the entire city of Naples. On your return, you'll pass by Mergellina and the world famous Castle of the Egg in Santa Lucia.
